public space for visual arts and communication
DEAFSPACE is a place, a concept, and an opportunity to exhibit and share information on visual communication through multimedia, workshops and the visual arts. It will showcase the works of deaf people from all over the world (dance, theatre, cinema, poetry, photography, art, graphic design and sculpture).
The permanent and temporary exhibits will enable everyone to discover the potential of deaf artists and the richness of visual communication. DEAFSPACE will project a positive image to the public and positive role models for deaf and hard of hearing children – showing that deaf people can achieve anything with the appropriate support and opportunities.
Through
short courses and workshops, exhibits and events the public will be able
to progressively discover and enter the deaf world. |
